About the Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown
The Kiwanis Club of Charlottetown is a not-for-profit community service club. Our club mainly supports charitable organizations, with a focus on children and youth programs. Financial support is provided through fundraising initiatives including the Kiwanis Dairy Bar in Victoria Park and Bingo Country in Charlottetown. Kiwanis members volunteer their time by participating in these fundraising efforts and other community service projects. Involvement in these programs and projects are aimed at promoting leadership qualities and a sense of community pride in our members.
New members participate in an orientation program which helps them determine how to become involved in ways that best match their personal interests and skills. Members quickly learn that the benefits of membership increase with their level of participation in their club.
